A World Of Misunderstanding

It’s time to realize that we are all living in a world of misunderstandings. It doesn’t matter how educated you are to understand the reasons to misunderstandings, the fact that you know more about it only leads you faster to assume certain things based on your knowledge. To some people, misunderstanding can be a basis of a happy life in their ideal world because it’s the easiest way to allow them to see the way things they want.

A simple lunch appointment could be viewed as an evaluation for future dates; a simple dinner outing could be a consent for a romping night’s out. A simple remark could be viewed as a personal attack; a casual joke could be a form of condemnation. A simple smile could be viewed as an expression of interest; a caring word could be a signal of love. A phone call could be viewed as a check on one’s personal life; a home visit could be an intrusion of one’s lifestyle. An enlighten philosophy could be viewed as an affirmation of their beliefs; a bible verse could be a confirmation of their holiness.

Some people really enjoyed this world of misunderstanding, as their lives are as monotonous as the stray cats down the backstreets. They slept wherever is warm, they mated whoever they click, they moaned whenever they like it, they fought as their moods guide, they licked whoever feed them and they ate whatever people feed.

Probably as Jon is writing this someone out there is assuming that Jon hates cats. But the truth is though Jon dislikes cats but he didn’t purposely select cats as an expression of people who love to misunderstand. Frankly, there are just no other animals that best make the match…

Now that we understand the nature of cats, are you still bothered by how you could sometimes be misunderstood? Does it really matter if you could clarify misunderstanding when no one has any idea how to tame a cat? Do you really need to procrastinate how to prevent the next misunderstanding when you are never sure when the next cat decides to cross your path? If serpents are going to lead you to HELL, then cats are going to prevent you from making true friendships on earth. To make matter worse cute cats are the most dangerous of all as people are least defensive against such loveable creatures. Their soft sweet voice and their demure petite body could easily deceive our naked eyes. With cats around, how could we not live in a world of misunderstandings…

Misunderstanding can be good at times. It creates an opportunity to clarify.

Fear is to meet some people who prefer to stay in the darkness of self-satisfied misunderstanding.
